“I don’t wear [sports] jerseys, I’m 30-plus,” Jay-Z once rapped. He was one of the first rappers to embrace a mature style without becoming irrelevant. He threw away his long white t-shirts, throw back jerseys and began wearing suits and button-up shirts. His transformation in style coincides with the NBA’s change in style.
