4. One of the most poignant moments of the ABFF was the screening of the powerful In the Hive, a heart-tugging film about an alternative school for wayward boys. Hall of Fame NBA star Isiah Thomas, a Chicago native like Robert Townsend, added to the electric panel discussion that followed in sharing how he overcame his tough upbringing.
