Drake Buys Seven-Bedroom, Nine-Bathroom Estate
Although he’s been in the news for less than stellar reasons as of late, Drake is moving forward fromt the drama and dropping millions on new real estate. The 25-year-old emcee who was accused of engaging in a bottle throwing brawl with Chris Brown last month, recently purchased a home in California’s ‘Hidden Hills’ neighborhood. According to multiple reports the emotive rhymer has taken residence in a sprawling seven-bedroom, nine bathroom estate. Moreover however, Drake’s purchased a home that features an 80 foot water slide, a grotto, 24-seat theater, game room, spa and massage room and master suite with his and her bathrooms. Additionally, the rapper who’s confessed that wine spritzers are his alcoholic beverage of choice, has a wine cellar complete with a tasting room.
Although reports about Drake’s home are just now surfacing, it should be noted that in April, a writer for GQ magazine interviewed the rapper and made note of his lavish mansion complete with waterfalls in the San Fernando Valley area. The mansion she spoke of is the same estate that’s become a hot topic online as of late, one that was being rented by Drake at the time. “Waterfalls gush all around, surging over enormous boulders. Bronze animals—lions, elephants, giraffes!—checker the lawn, glimmering in the last light of the San Fernando Valley sun,” wrote Claire Hoffman for the mag. Drake purchased the home this month for $7.7 million, a steal considering that it was previously listed for $27 million.
