After denying reports directly and through his 2011 championship winning team, a famed German basketballer will now how to have ‘fess up that he’s married. Dirk Nowitzki, the 34-year-old star of the Dallas Mavericks, recently wed his longtime girlfriend, Jessica Olsson, in a traditional Kenyan ceremony. The 7-footer was recently spotted in Africa where he partook in a traditional kikuyu ceremony to join with his Swedish and African bride.
According to JamboNewspot, an African newspaper, the couple held a ‘”Nngurario” on July 15 to announce to the community Olsson’s engagement. The occasion also allowed for both Norwitzki’s and Olsson’s families to meet. Following that the couple went through the ruracio phase to make their bond official. Congrats to the happy couple!
