On Saturday, Aug. 25, many well dressed ladies with great hats made their way up to Chateau Elan to experience fellowship, prayer and good food at the Girlfriends Pray breakfast. Dee Marshall is the founder of the non profit organization which was established earlier this year. She has traveled the country getting women together for prayer with her ministry. During the event women heard about the power of prayer, enjoyed an abundance of praise through dance and song, along with the sermon and an award ceremony. After that, the ladies had benediction on the lawn.
The mission is to get more women closer to God through prayer. The vision is 1 million women around the world united through prayer.
