10 Reasons Black Women Cannot Trust Ann Romney

3. “You may not agree with Mitt’s positions on issues or his politics,” Ann Romney said in a nationally televised speech on the first full day of the convention “But let me say this to every American who is thinking about who should be our next president: No one will work harder, no one will care more, and no one will move heaven and earth like Mitt Romney to make this country a better place to live.” But if we don’t agree with his politics, and many conservatives and right-wingers do not, then how can he lead them? His own party preferred the more right-wing Rick Santorum or Texas governor Rick Perry and Perry would have been nominee had he not continued to trip over his own tongue on television.

4. Romney, who will accept the nomination on Thursday night, strode on stage after his wife’s speech to greet her with a kiss — to the strains of the 1965 Temptations hit song “My Girl.” Really? You actually know the Temptations?!? I know that you two grew up in the prosperous northern suburbs of Detroit and Motown is a Detroit gem, but it’s interesting that a couple with no connection to the black community would even be aware that Motown existed. I’m surprised they even heard of the Temptations.
