Nathaniel Turner is a 24-year veteran of the City of Detroit Fire Department. He has often seen more action in a week, than many see in a year. After 12 years of emergency response and another 13 years working to prevent fires as an inspector, he offers two solid pieces of advice to new and aspiring firefighters: stay in shape and stay on top of the training.
