On Saturday, Oct. 7, 2012, we announced the loss our dear friend Wayne K. Brown, who succumbed to cancer. Brown was the general manager at Streetz 94.5 FM, Atlanta’s new Hip-Hop Station, and the senior partner and associate publisher of Who’s Who publishing company.
His wife Neysa and sons Dylan and Drew invite family and friends to celebrate his life on Thursday, Oct. 11 at Ebenezer Baptist Church located at 407 Auburn Avenue in Atlanta. The Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. tribute will be held at 3:30 p.m. The public memorial begins at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers “The Brown Children’s Education Fund” has been established for those wishing to contribute.
The Wayne K. Brown Celebration Of Life will take place following the memorial from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Brown’s homegoing service will be held on Monday, October 15, 2012 in Washington, D.C.

From 75/85, take exit 248C (Freedom Parkway, Carter Center); Turn right on Boulevard Take immediate second right on John Wesley Dobbs Avenue to bus and visitor parking Walk from the back of the parking lot toward the Visitor’s Center pass the Visitor’s Center and turn right The Horizon Sanctuary is in the next building. Please note that there is NO parking on Jackson Street.
