President Barack Obama has a new theme song. Ne Yo teamed up with artists such as The Goo Goo Dolls’ Johnny Rzeznik, Herbie Hancock, Delta Rae and Natasha Bedingfield to release a pro-Barack Obama anthem in time for election day.
The song begins with an excerpt from a speech by President Obama, “I have never been more hopeful about America. Not because I think I have all the answers.
Not because I’m naive about the magnitude of our challenges. I’m hopeful because of you,” says.
Ne-Yo begins the song with an inspirational verse about the power of voting. “You can’t give up on hope, Each other’s hand we hold, We’re on a long hard road, But we travel it together, We pull each other up, We fill each other’s cup, So we all have enough, We’re all in this together, Whoa, we’re halfway there,
So stand up, if you care, yeah, yeah,” Ne-Yo sings.
Rolling out was on hand as Ne-Yo recorded the song. Check out the exclusive video below.
