She was charged with DUI, reckless driving and failure to maintain lanes and booked into the Atlanta City Jail.
A veteran journalist, Davis has been with FOX 5 since 1986 and co-anchors the station’s 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Clark Atlanta University (formerly Clark College) and has received numerous awards, including the Edward R. Murrow Award and a Gabby, Georgia Association of Broadcasters Award.
Also, Davis is a widely recognized in the community for her work in placing Georgia’s foster children in permanent homes via the Wednesday’s Child project.
