Nas' tour profits being garnished to pay Georgia tax debts

In 1996, Hammer sadly filed for bankruptcy after racking up $13 million in debt. Though Hammer seemed to have recovered from his debt woes over the past few years, things came crashing down for the rapper once again last year, when the IRS filed a lawsuit against MC Hammer, claiming that he owes the U.S. government $779,585 in back taxes from 1996 and 1997.
