'Love & Hip Hop' creator Mona Scott-Young's annual holiday celebration

On Saturday, Dec. 15, Mona-Scott-Young, the founder and CEO of Monami Entertainment, hosted the annual Monami holiday celebration at the Newark Museum in New Jersey. The 200+ star-studded affair was attended by Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes, DJ Khaled, and “Love & Hip Hop” cast members Yandy Smith, Olivia Longott, Rich Dollaz, Joe Budden, Rashidah Ali, Tahiry Jose, Consequence, Jen the Pen, Lore’l and Winter Ramos. Additional attendees included Ebro Darden, Angela Burt-Murray, Jacquie Lee, Angela Yee, Rhonda Cowan, Kim Osorio, Misa Hylton, Michael Kenneth Williams, Tracy Christian, Jamie Foster Brown, K Foxx, Jas Fly, Ms. Drama, Sharon Carpenter and many more!

Guests danced the night away while sipping on drinks courtesy of sponsors Ciroc and Bartenura Moscato. Scott-Young, who made two fabulous dress changes that night, was all smiles as she posed for the camera with her children and husband, Shawn Young. “This is my favorite time of the year,” she said. “All the people I love are in one room. This was a great night!”

This year’s Monami holiday celebration was all about “partying with a purpose.” Scott-Young partnered with the GrassROOTS Community Foundation and guests made donations to the organization throughout the evening. “No donation was too small … as long as it came from a big heart.” said Scott-Young. “Janice and the wonderful volunteers at the GrassROOTS Community Foundation have dedicated themselves to developing community-based programs that offer educational and wellness programs to impoverished young women and girls and on Saturday, we were able to help them get closer to their goals!” Check out more pics from the party after the jump!
