Rivera put her private struggles in song, and her voice made her fans stronger. Rivera’s five children, her parents and brothers struggled and celebrated the life of their fallen superstar, and daughter Jacquie Melina Campos eulogized her in this way: “my mother was perfectly imperfect.”
Rivera died when her plane crashed on Dec. 9 in Monterrey, Mexico, but her soul lives on daughter Campos told mourners: “The beautiful queen is still here.”
