Katt Williams also stated that he turned down a role in Leo DiCaprio’s new film, Django Unchained:
F**k Jamie Foxx and the ‘Django Unchained‘ check he cashed. They offered me the script and I said, ‘Any n*gga that do this deserves to die. And the next thing I heard, Jamie Foxx was in makeup. I went to the set myself and I couldn’t believe it. I got a copy of the script. They gave me a copy of the script written in Spielberg’s hands. The words ‘f* you, n*gger’ appear one hundred and seventy six times in the script.”
In the film directed by Quentin Tarantino, Foxx portrays a freed slave who sets out to exact his revenge on those who sold his wife. Foxx says that he anticipates some flack from the Black community over the movie. “As black folks we’re always sensitive,” Foxx told a reporter. “As a black person it’s always racial.”
