How did you get involved with the show?
I heard about the show through a Facebook friend who saw my pictures and thought that I would be perfect for the show. That person sent my information to the person who was casting for the show and after doing one on camera interview, the casting directors fell in love with me and the rest is history.
What’s been like to be one of the two African American cast members?
It was a good experience for me because it gave me a chance to get to know people from different walks of life that wouldn’t normally cross my social circle.
Describe your ideal Mrs. Right.
There are several attributes that make a female attractive to me. Some guys have a habit of avoiding successful, independent and progressive women due to their own inadequacies, but a woman possessing those qualities is extremely appealing to me. I like a woman who’s confident in who she is and knows what she wants out of life and in a man. Also, a woman who takes pride in her health and wellness is very sexy; eating right and staying in shape for her and not just for me. Additionally, a woman who I can watch sporting events with is very attractive to me and, of course, my ideal Mrs. Right will be someone who I can connect with on a spiritual level as well as physical.

I was recently a guest on “Kandi Koated Nights” with Ms. Kandi Buruss from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and I was also a featured panelist for Deshai Cole’s “Ultimate Girls Fest” along with Lance Gross, and Kenny Burns. If you missed any of those appearances look out for me hosting events in New Orleans for Super Bowl; Houston, for All-Star; and Mobile, [Ala.], for Mardi Gras. I have also signed on as this year’s Red Carpet host for the Trumpet Awards.
