Cynthia’s pageant nearly falls apart
The night of Cynthia’s first pageant has finally arrived, but things quickly go downhill for her as she realizes her co-host, Boris Kodjoe, is very underdressed and that the scripts they need to read from don’t match. Things continue to go wrong as the girls walk out on stage and Boris and Cynthia realize their names are out of order, and when they try to have an intermission to sort the problem out, the teen girls are almost skipped over for their runway moment. Surprisingly, Kenya doesn’t criticize Cynthia’s show and she actually offers her some words of encouragement. When the show starts again, things finally turn around, and after an awkward delay, the winning girls are finally crowned.
