Before its release, Dreamgirls was marketed to cater to Beyonce’s wide fan base. But once everyone got a chance to see the film, it was obvious that Jennifer Hudson was the big movie star. Beyonce seemed flat and out of place during several scenes. Hudson would eventually walk away with the Oscar.
