The Goodie Mob was arguably the first rap group to combine spirituality with Southern street ethos. But after releasing three solid albums, Cee Lo Green decided to embark on a solo career. The fellow members of Goodie Mob responded by releasing an album called One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show. It was an uninspiring diss and the music was lackluster. Fortunately, the group moved beyond the beef and decided to reunite. Cee Lo, who is now a mega star in music and entertainment, promises to release a new Goodie Mob album and tour soon.
