Annette Funicello dies
Annette Funicello known for her time on the “Mickey Mouse Club” has died. The “Mouseketeer,” pop star and actress was 70.
In the 1960s Funicello was known for her roles in movies like Beach Party and Beach Blanket Bingo. Funicello also had roles in’The Shaggy Dog, Babes in Toyland and The Monkey’s Uncle.
ExtraTV reports that Funicello had been hospitalized in Bakersfield, Calif., due to complications from multiple sclerosis and had been in a coma for years.
