May 10, 2005, Gucci was attacked by several men at a house in Decatur, Ga. Gucci and hsi entourage opened fire on the men, and one, nicknamed “Pookie Loc,” was killed. The rapper turned himself in to police and was charged with murder. The charges were later dropped as prosecutors confirmed that Gucci acted in self-defense.
