The summer music festivals are nearly upon us. If you are looking forward to a festival or concert, remember that what you wear (or don’t wear) comes second only to preparing to see your favorite band perform. While Coachella calls for bohemian threads, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Outside Lands beg you to update your wardrobe with low key, versatile wears. Here are some tips to help you dress correctly:
Wear Something Light
For more large gatherings that attract thousands, know that no matter how nice the weather may be, you are still going to feel the heat. Opt for a light colored cotton shirt to keep you cool. Cotton can absorb sweat and help you fight off the heat. Also, shorts are good but jeans are great. But don’t wear those $300 jeans. Your clothes will likely take a beating in the crowd.
Jeans are also better than skirts that can get cumbersome and restrict movement.
