The 2013 SolJazz Festival will be held June 7-16 in Dallas. Saturday, June 15 is known as “SolJazz Saturday.” It will highlight an all-star lineup of exciting performances from international, national and local musical talent. Artist like Cherrelle, “Ms Saturday Love”, Joe McBride and the smooth jazz saxophonist Vandell Andrew will perform. There will also be a unique auto show.
June brings other SolJazz signature events such as the 2nd Annual Walk for Diabetes Prevention. The American Diabetes Association will sponsor health and wellness with blood pressure and glucose checks, nurses, information on health, nutrition and fitness.
Offered too will be, SolJazzin Neo Poetry Night, Salute Our Troops and Veterans Gold Scramble, SolJazz Comedy and a Casino Soiree. Check the SolJazz facebook page and rolling out for dates and times.
