There’s no question that Lil Mo has one of the best voices that the R&B world has ever heard. During a recent interview with Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club,” Lil Mo stacked her vocal prowess up against several other R&B stars and revealed which ones she believes she can out sing.
The drama all began when the “Breakfast Club” hosts brought up Lil Mo’s issues with Keyshia Cole, who slammed Mo’s close friend, Michelle Williams, earlier this year.
“When you try to attack who you think is the weakest link…be very careful and mindful of what you put in the atmosphere because people are watching,” said Mo. “Why are you trying to come at her? She’s at the Super Bowl. B!tc#, you ain’t there… You start naming names, you make yourself a target to the fans who are from Michelle’s camp and Bey’s camp.”
As Cole learned earlier this year, the “R&B Divas: LA” star explained that Williams’ Destiny’s Child sister, Beyoncé, is someone in the industry that no one should go against.
“You don’t talk about Beyoncé,” Lil’ Mo said. “When you mention the Queen Bee, suddenly your career disappears into thin air.”
However, Mo wasn’t at all hesitant about sharing her candid thoughts about some other singers that she thinks she’s better than. Check out the singers that she believes she can outsing after the cut. – nicholas robinson
