Will Smith is so busy promoting his upcoming film After Earth, one would think that his hip-hop career would be the furthest thing from the Hollywood A-lister’s mind right now. But in a recent interview, the former “Fresh Prince” said that rapper-producer Kanye West has him motivated to consider rapping again.
During a press junket for the film, Smith was asked about picking up the microphone once more and admitted that he gets the urge.
“I’ve been messing around with Kanye, we went into the studio a couple of times,” Smith revealed in an interview with Hip Hollywood. “I might get the bug. I’m not gonna do it unless I’m truly inspired but Ye’s been pushing me a little bit.”
Also, an Instagram photo was posted of Will and Yeezy in Brazil hanging out in a studio together.
However, it’s unclear if or what the duo was working on.
