This past weekend, Serena Williams continued her tennis reign by beating out Maria Sharapova to win the 2013 French Open. While the title, her fifth one in the span of a year was more than enough for Williams, she got an extra special bonus in the form of a handwritten letter from another powerhouse, Beyoncé, who congratulated the tennis titan on her win.
Beyoncé posted a picture of the letter on her Facebook page and also gave a nod to her own song “Bow Down.”
