J. Cole found himself in the midst of a cruel joke by a person who is likely mentally deranged. On the day of J. Cole’s album release for Born Sinner, a man posted an image on Twitter with a disturbing threat:
“@JColeNC retweet me and I’ll buy Born Sinner. Don’t retweet me and I’ll kill my lil sister.” Under the tweet was a picture of a gun aimed at a young girl. To prevent anything serious from occurring, J. Cole retweeted the guy with the quote, “craziest s– I ever seen twitter.”
The guy bragged about the retweet and received backlash from fans of J. Cole. However, Twitter deleted the man’s account immediately.
