Harlem, NY murderer Larry Davis found guilty

larry davisLarry Davis, 24, is already serving a 25 years to life sentence for the strangulation of his transgender sex partner in 2010. On Friday, June 21, he was found guilty of murdering his 76-year-old grandmother, Cora Davis, who refused to give him the requested $175 and gave him $1 instead.

Deemed a “sociopath” and a “pyschopath,” Davis refused to go to court to hear the jury’s verdict, which was none other than guilty considering he was found in his grandmother’s bed with a prostitute by his uncle. His grandmother’s lifeless body was in the closet at the time.

The trial held in Manhattan Supreme Court lasted only a week. During this time, Davis alleged an ankle injury, saying he was in too much pain for the court proceedings to commence, so Justice Gregory Carro sent jurors home. The next day of trial, Davis tied a noose made of shoelaces and faked a suicide attempt.

His sentencing date is July 23. He faces another 25-year sentence.
