“White people don’t force black people to have babies out of wedlock.”
FOX News star commentator Bill O’Reilly dialed up the ethnic hate in a rabid racial rambling of a rant that “diagnosed” the black community’s ongoing problems. Unfurling the darkest spirits out of his cold, corroded soul, O’Reilly condescendingly lectured African Americans that violent crime is due to “personal” choices made by single black women who churn out children like an assembly line and suggests that more parental discipline and increasingly harsh penalties for drug crimes would be his preferred response.O’Reilly, much like radio personality Rush Limbaugh, came to fame and national respectability and fortune by doing just what he says he despises about what Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton allegedly do: exploiting racial animus and fanning the flames of ethnic strife.
O’Reilly used the prism of Sanford, Fla., neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman’s cold-blooded killing 17-year-old African American Trayvon Martin to attack the work of civil rights advocates who’ve pointed out in recent months that the drug war has caused a major racial disparity in arrest statistics. This despite many government studies that state unequivocally that whites are statistically more likely to possess illicit narcotics and controlled substances.
“It was wrong for Zimmerman to confront Martin based on his appearance,” O’Reilly began revving up the racist hate. “But the culture that we have in this country does lead to criminal profiling because young black American men are so often involved in crime.”
“When was the last time you saw a public service ad telling young black girls to avoid becoming pregnant?” he asked. “Has President Obama done such an ad? How about [Jessie] Jackson or [Al] Sharpton? Has the Congressional Black Caucus demanded an ad like that? How about the PC pundits who work for NBC News?”
“White people don’t force black people to have babies out of wedlock,” O’Reilly concluded. “That’s a personal decision. A decision that has devastated millions of children and led to disaster, both socially and economically.”
O’Reilly also failed to note that violent crime went down 8.7 percent across the nation between 2009 and 2011, according to FBI statistics.
Twitter was quick to react to O’Reilly’s dastardly and pathetic rant. Read on for what the Twitterverse had to say.
