Cobo Hall — Now know as Cobo Center, the venue has been Detroit’s convention center since its completion in 1960, most notably for the North American International Auto Show every January. It continues to be a favorite location for concerts and other major gatherings in addition to hosting business conventions. Those traveling on the Lodge Freeway, which goes right below the Cobo Center, will recognize it as one of Detroit’s popular landmarks.
