Elmore Leonard dead at 87
A famed writer passed away today, August 20, in his Detroit home. Elmore Leonard who penned the tomes Get Shorty, Out of Sight, Hombre, Mr. Majestyk and Rum Punch died surrounded by his family from complications from a stroke.
The news was confirmed by his official website and Facebook fan page.
He was 87-years-old.
