Armed robbery suspects beaten severely by their victims

Two armed gunmen attempted to rob students at the University of Virginia and ended up battered and bruised. According to NBC29 in Virginia, Jonny Calderon, 19, and Gerald Allen, 18, approached a group of students and demanded their money.


The students eventually turned the tables on the would-be robbers and began beating them severely.  Calderon received two black eyes and bruises and Allen’s eye was swollen shut. The students held the robbers until the police arrived.


The robbers were rushed to the hospital and then charged with attempted robbery, pointing a firearm an using a firearm in the commission of a felony.
