Jill Scott’s weave
Singer-songwriter Jill Scott,who is noted for her affinity for natural hairstyles, is showing off silky straight tresses much to the dismay of some of her fans. Scott, who graces the current cover of rolling out, has been promoting the film Baggage Claim without her usual homegrown curls and is instead wearing a weave.
According to the songstress’s hairstylist, Anthony Cherry, aka the “King of Hair.” the star is wearing 22 inches of Brazilian hair from HairControl extensions.
And while the majority of fans told Scott on Twitter that they approved of her latest coiffure, others were not so impressed.
