Queen Latifah and LL Cool J: There was never any evidence that James T. Smith’s character was hopelessly in love with Queen Latifah’s during The Last Holiday, either. At least not nearly as much as the script and the director wanted to make it appear. Queen, however, made us definitely believe that she was in love with her girlfriend on the urban classic Set it Off.
