Big Boi’s wife, Sherlita Patton files for divorce
Sherlita Patton, the wife of rapper Big Boi, is splitting from the emcee after 11 years of marriage.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution who obtained official court documents, the two are currently separated and Sherlita claims their marriage is “irretrievably broken.” She is seeking seeking alimony and an equitable division of marital property.
The couple wed in February 2002 and made headlines in May after celebrating the high school graduation of their daughter, Jordan.
