The stripper who accused Duke University lacrosse players of rape in 2006 has been convicted of second-degree murder. According to reports, Crystal Mangum, 34, was convicted of stabbing her boyfriend, Reginald Daye, to death.

Mangum first gained notoriety in 2006 when she accused three Duke lacrosse players of rape after she performed a strip tease at their home.  However, DNA evidence did not link Mangum to any of the Duke players.

Mangum claimed that she stabbed Daye in self-defense. However, the judge ruled against her. She has been sentenced to 14 years in prison.
