During last night’s episode of “Scandal” viewers watched with their mouths agape as Shonda Rhimes’ program took new twists and turns. Titled the “Mommy Monster” episode, “Scandal” delved into the background of Mama Pope, who miraculously showed up on Olivia’s doorstep asking her to help her escape her “evil” father, Eli. Additionally, there was a torture scene, a bombshell between Cyrus Bean and his husband, and a shocking cliffhanger.
As usual, social media was ablaze with reactions both during and after the program from fans and “Scandal” stars, including Kerry Washington and Darby Stanchfield.
