A woman in Gaithersburg, Md. will have to serve five years in prison for stealing $800 worth of hair weave. According to a report by NBC 4 Washington, Yvonne Williams, 19, and two other women entered the Town Beauty Supply Store in September of 2012.
While pushing her toddler in a baby stroller, Williams and her accomplices attempted to steal bundles of weave from the store; however, the store owner spotted the theft and approached Williams and the other women. When the owner attempted to call 911, Williams tried to snatch the phone. She then punched the store owner and hit her in the head with her shoe.
During the altercation, the baby slipped out of the stroller and fell on her head. Williams continued to fight and eventually fell herself. The women left the scene of the crime, but Williams was later arrested.
She plead guilty to disorderly conduct and she will now spend the next five years of her life behind bars.
