Erica Mena will appear on this week’s edition of rolling out. During our interview, Mena shared a few fun facts about her life.
Here are five things you didn’t know about Erica Mena.
She was inspired to get into entertainment after watching a Janet Jackson video.
“The first video that made me want to get into entertainment was Janet Jackson’s ‘That’s The Way Love Goes.’ I eventually got into modeling at the age of 14.”
Her favorite movie is Gia.
“Gia with Angelina Jolie. It showed the trials and tribulations that you can go through. You can want a dream so bad, but there are so many tests that can come along. In this industry, you can be distracted by drugs, sex, or whatever. The film gives you chills because it shows you that you can easily get caught up even when you are living your dream.”
The one album she can listen to 1,000 times:
“There’s Something About Remy. Remy Ma is from the Bronx and I’m from the Bronx. The stories in her music are similar to what I’ve experienced. She’s been through it all and she’s still going.”
Her favorite travel destination:
“Bow [Wow] and I recently just went to Puerto Rico and we’re obsessed with it. I think that Puerto Rico just has this calm and peace.”
Her first car was a gift from Bow Wow
“My first car was a Rolls-Royce. I was more concerned on how I was going to drive it because it’s so big! Bow can drive me around. I can control everything else in the world, but me in a car, I’m just so scared. I had a really bad car accident a few months after I gave birth to my son. I’m like a grandma when I drive, all the way to the front wheel, so it’s bad.”
