Andrea Wilson was arrested on Monday for “flipping” stolen cars.
Wilson, 31, has been charged with theft by receiving, identity fraud, driving on a suspended license and possession of a vehicle with an altered VIN, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones told the media that Wilson was arrested Monday at a house on the southwest part of the ATL.
Police said the rapper was in possession of the following vehicles:
- a Ford F-150 with an altered VIN;
- a Chevrolet Avalanche with an altered VIN;
- a Dodge Charger reported stolen from the city of Atlanta;
- and a Bentley that was carjacked in College Park last year, according to Jones;
- Wilson also had the keys to both the Ford and the Bentley.
Jones added that investigators are now working to see if Wilson can be linked to other outstanding cases of vehicle alteration and flipping in the area.
Wilson founded the CEO of Fire Boy Records and boasts the hit local hit, “Baking Soda,” from his debut album, Back to the Streets.
The title of the songs seems sadly poetic when you understand that Lil Hot been jailed eight previous times since 2004, including five times for cocaine possession.
