Hurricane — Denzel Washington’s finest performance, in many moviegoers’ eyes, in a career defined by elite performance. Many fans remain displeased that the two-time Academy Award winner and one of the greatest actors of this generation won the Best Actor Oscar for playing a corrupt cop in Training Day (though it was a great performance) instead of the superior Hurricane or Malcolm X.
