Stars whose wigs damaged their hairlines
Countess Vaughn recently revealed that her love for lace front wigs left her with permanent damage to her face and scalp. As previously reported the “Moesha” star appeared on “The Drs” and shared her scary story that includes oozing puss and discoloration from prolonged use of hair pieces.
“The red flag was the oozing from my ears, from my forehead, the whole nape around my head. The pus had a horrible smell and was painful,” said Vaughn.
She now has severe hair loss and fills in her hairline with eyeliner to hide her baldness.
And while some stars may not have to go to severe measures to cover up their weakened edges and virtually nonexistent hairlines, there are quite a few whose wigs and weaves have caused noticeable strain on their tresses.
