San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has found himself under close scrutiny due to an alleged “suspicious incident” involving himself, an anonymous young woman and two other NFL players.
Kaepernick, 26, is under investigation along with his teammate Quinton Patton and former San Francisco 49er and current Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette, after a young woman claims that she woke up in the hospital following a night of “fun” with the three athletes.
According to Sporting News,
“The alleged incident occurred April 1 at the Miami apartment belonging to Lockette. According to the police report, a woman went to visit Lockette at his apartment around 9 p.m. Kaepernick and Patton were also both there. She made drinks for the three men. She told police that in order to drink shots with them, she had to “hit” a bong containing marijuana.”
The unidentified woman continued partying with the athletes until she began to feel light-headed and was forced to lie down in a nearby bedroom. She was later joined by Kaepernick, whom she’d had a previous relationship with and they, “became intimate, but did not have sex.”
She went on to tell authorities that Kaepernick left the room and said he would return but by her knowledge, he did not. As she laid undressed in the room, Patton and Lockette looked in and she screamed at them to leave, which they did.
Unfortunately for the young woman, she woke up in a hospital bed remembering little about how she ended up in the hospital to begin with.
