Drake visits terminal cancer patient

Drake touched a few hearts this weekend when he touched down in Houston, Texas to grant a prom wish for a young teen fighting brain cancer.

On Saturday, April 12, the “Hold On, We’re Going Home” rapper made a surprise visit to 15-year-old Kennedy Brown and a handful of her classmates, as they threw her a surprise prom celebration.

Brown, who has been living with brain cancer for the last two years and is now in hospice care had just one wish … to be crowned prom queen. But thanks to a group of Carnegie Vanguard High School students and Drizzy, she was granted much more.

“Me and this beautiful angel Kennedy #kenfordrake” Drake captioned the above photo featuring him and Brown as he kicked off his Houston Appreciation Weekend, where he plans to do something special each week for the community.

Earlier this week, a peer of Brown’s, Payton Campbell, took to Twitter in hopes of grabbing the rappers attention saying …

“We would ask all of your viewers to #DrakeForKen so we can get him to come see her or send something for her because that would mean the world to her.”

But Drizzy exceeded expectations, when gave the biggest gift that anyone could give … himself.

“All these beautiful people #drakeforken turned into #kenfordrake. I am so happy,” he continued as he snapped photos with brown and her guests. And by the looks of their faces, Drake created a lot of joy that day.
