OutKast has been announced as the headliner for this year’s BET Experience at L.A. Live. The reunited duo of André 3000 and Big Boi will close out the second day of the three-day fest at the Staples Center in downtown L.A. on Saturday, June 28.
DJ Khaled will host Saturday’s hip-hop-heavy lineup, which will also include Rick Ross, A$AP Rocky, K. Michelle, Ty Dolla $ign, and August Alsina.
The BET Experience kicks off on Friday, June 27, with R&B performers Maxwell, Jill Scott, Marsha Ambrosius, and Candice Glover. Later that evening, Future will play a late-night gig at Club Nokia. The 2014 BET Awards held Sunday, June 28th features Mary J. Blige, Trey Songz, and Jennifer Hudson performing at the show at the Staples Center. –Joi Pearson @joiapearson
