North Carolina A&T lock down
The campus of North Carolina A&T was on lockdown this morning, April 28 after reports of a gunman on campus. At around 10:30 a.m. the University’s Twitter account alerted students that a man carrying a weapon was spotted.

The school was promptly put on lockdown and authorities were called to the scene. The University initially canceled all classes but after police conducted a sweep, all campus activities were resumed.

This is second school lockdown within recent days. Last week Georgia’s Kennesaw State University issued a warning after a man was reportedly seen wielding a gun on campus. Authorities later reported that it was a false alarm and the suspect was carrying a cell phone.
