Beyonce Jay Z Met Gala Rolling Out Joi Pearson-6

Beyoncé never stops being Beyoncé

Beyoncé’s reaction to the fight was almost robotic. She didn’t seem surprised by Solange’s attack and appeared to do little to stop her vicious blows. After walking out of the hotel, Beyoncé smiled as Solange and Jay Z both looked flustered.

Beyoncé’s bodyguard deserves some type of award

Beyoncé’s bodyguard, Julius, deserves an award or some kind of badge of honor for being proactive throughout the altercation. Julius was able to keep Solange from destroying Jay Z’s face and hurting Beyoncé in the process; he stopped the elevator so that press and attendees wouldn’t see the scuffle; and he made sure that Jay Z didn’t get in the same car as Solange when they left the Met Gala. For that alone, he earned his money.

Solange could be damaged or benefit from the video

But from another perspective, Solange could use the video in her favor by embracing the bad girl persona. When it comes down to it, she’s the only artist to stand eye-to-eye and put hands on Jay Z.
