Pop’s resident bad girl Rihanna, has officially shook the social-sphere. Following a series of topless photos she posted last month from her French Lui spread, the 26-year-old singer confirmed with E! that she ditched the photo sharing site.
While many have been fooled to think that the “Diamonds” singer had returned to IG earlier this week under the account BADGALRIRI_AGAIN, attracting 47,000 followers, she shared for a brief moment on Twitter to set the record straight.
“#PHAKE!!!! Let’s be clear, I do NOT have an IG account,” Rihanna wrote underneath a photo on the impostor account.
As for the reason behind Rihanna’s departure, the drama with the photo sharing site allegedly began after Rih posted a string of topless and bottomless images from her cover shoot with French publication Lui last month.
While Instagram denies eliminating Rihanna’s account due to an overwhelming amount of explicit snaps, a rep for IG, Alison Schumer, blames the issue on human error …
“We briefly disabled the account by mistake and restored it quickly,” Schumer said.
