Colin Kaepernick will not be charged in sexual assault case
San Fransisco 49er’s star Colin Kaepernick can sleep a little easier tonight. As previously reported, Kaepernick, 26, was under close scrutiny following an alleged “suspicious incident” involving himself, an anonymous young woman and two other NFL players.
Over the past several months the footballer has been under investigation along with his teammate Quinton Patton and former San Francisco 49er and current Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette, after a Miami woman claims that she woke up in a hospital bed after a night of smoking weed and drinking with the three athletes.
Thankfully for Kaepernick, new reports state that prosecutors have found that “there is no evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that any crime was committed against the complainant.”
Kaepernick responded to the great news via Twitter saying …
As I said from day one, I would never do the things that were made up about me. I’m glad this issue is resolved. It’s time for football.
