Domestic homicide continues to be a major issue across the nation. But in Massachusetts, a Domestic Violence High Risk Team was created to find people who are most likely to commit domestic homicide.
Those who are considered violent are sentenced to a GPS tracking system if they display signs of stalking and verbal abuse after a restraining order has been implemented.
However, the program has yet to be implemented from a national standpoint and has not been tested in Illinois where Lori and her boyfriend were killed.
