Rihanna tweets #FreePalestine and quickly takes it back

Just days after NBA star Dwight Howard tweeted “Free Palestine” and quickly deleted it, Roc Nation artist Rihanna made the epic mistake of tweeting a similar message.

The tweet, which was sadly retweeted 7,000 times before the Bajan beauty could back track and delete it, read as follows…


Unfortunately for the pop star, the damage was already done and social media dragged her through the mud.

While Howard later apologized for his involvement in international politics, it’s been radio silence for RiRi, who followed up her original message with a more sentimental take on the conflict in the Middle East…
